Notes

"The Rose" was first recorded by Bette Midler for the movie of the same name.

Sinéad self-recorded a number of cover versions using the Smule.com karaoke web site, using the original instrumental track. Because these were released directly by her using her MagdaDavitt name, I consider these official releases.

In May 2021, Sinéad tweeted that somewhere, her producer (and ex-husband) John Reynolds had a copy of a studio recording Sinéad did of "The Rose," in response to a glowing review that Midler did of Sinéad's autobiography Rememberings. Reynolds tweeted a link to it shortly thereafter, but the link was taken down a day or two later, before I could grab a copy and take notes.
